I want this listening feature to continue working even when the phone screen is off or another app is open.
This is a basic feature. They could ask Claude how to implement it. This request is one year old almost. Listen to language with vocabulary you already know for the most is absolutely necessary to be able to understand in real life situation.
Here is an example of how other apps offer this. Simply insert the function into the library folder—it could be that easy!
It is very important for the learner to have the option to select the specific folder they want to listen to! There is no point in just playing random vocabulary when I have 15,000 cards. I want to at least be able to choose the folder containing the words I currently want to study. You could either add a folder selection option to the practice page or add an option, that I can start audio over within the right folder in library.
I use the listening feature in the practice tab on Android a lot while running or driving. It is one of the best AI features. I checked the autoplay flag in the settings, but when the screen locks, it stops, and it is annoying when I am running or driving to unlock the phone and play the listening again.

I think the Listen mode could be super useful but I cannot select the set of cards I would like to listen to. Words are selected randomly from the entire library but most of them I learnt already. So could you enable filters to select which words are played in the Listen mode, please?
This feature definitely needs to be implemented, as has been done in other competing applications.

I agree with this trend. It is necessary to add this feature to listen to my words in the background when we are commuting and the screen goes off.
May also introduce configurable timer to make listen-to-my-cards automatically stops after some period of time (for example if I fall asleep)
