Add personal voicing or option to mute cards

Some of the pronunciation is incorrect, it would be great if we could add our own sound files, and record directly through a microphone.

I also have this issue with Arabic pronunciation, especially for words that are specific to the Egyptian dialect. I would like an option to either add a custom voice recording, or to add the phonetic transcription in a separate field

I’d really like to have this option!

Hi, I am merging your idea into an existing one related to this topic (https://duocards.canny.io/feature-requests/p/add-personal-vo…) to consolidate votes and keep things organized.✌

Hello, this option is available when you create a new card set. You don´t have to do anything special, after you create a card, you can see a sound icon on the left of the card name. Is this solution what you have wished for?

Jana from DuoCards, btw for non-English languages the auto pronounsation is not always coreect. For example for Romanian language I see 3 different voices, but each of them makes mistakes in some words. It is not frequent error, but it do happen for some words. And when ocure, it seems it try apply English pronounsation over romanian syntax, so maybe the voice was not ideally adjusted for a language..

Jana from DuoCards Hello! I really like this option, but I agree that it is not always correct in other languages. I think it would be nice to have an option to record your own sound in addition to the automatic one.

Hi Алиса, This idea already exists in Canny, so I’ll merge yours into it to consolidate the votes and keep everything organized. ✌️ You can find it under the name: "Add personal voicing or option to mute cards." Michaela from DuoCards

While I appreciate being able to silence a card, it would be very helpful to enable adding your own recordings or recordings from Forvo.com as we still need to know how it's pronounced, silencing the card doesn't solve this issue.
