Support for separable verb markers in German (trennbare Verben)

I would like the app to support marking German separable verbs (trennbare Verben) in a way that preserves correct pronunciation. Currently, if I try to indicate separability using formats like “vor-weisen”, the pronunciation becomes incorrect (it is read as “vor” + pause + “weisen”), which negatively affects memorization. I have already tried using alternative separators such as: “-” “/” “|” However, all of them produce similar unwanted pronunciation or segmentation behavior. Ideally, there should be a dedicated way to mark separable prefixes (e.g. a neutral annotation or hidden marker) so that: The verb is clearly recognized as separable for learning purposes Pronunciation remains natural, as a single verb Only the visual learning aid is affected, not audio output This would greatly improve accuracy when learning German verb structures.
