Select custom number of cards to learn as „focus set“
I know many people have already requested sub folders and categories which I would also love. In addition, it would be great to be able to randomly select a custom number of words to do in 1 practice round, and be able to select each word manually from the list to add to a temporary „focus set“. So let‘s say I added 50 new words to learn, but don‘t want to do them in 1 go, I would want to select for example 10-15 words to focus on learning and memorising before starting more new words. Perhaps with an additional option to mix in some random old words so I‘m not just doing my new „focus set“. This way, one will repeat the words we want to focus on more often, even if they are correct, but don‘t have to wait 20min to see them again.
Or we could set a goal like „each card in focus set needs to be right 10 times before session is complete“ and then progress would just continue independently of the focused session.
This is what I would do with physical cards.
This could also work if there was a feature to add „tags“ for example „difficult“ „easy“ or „phrases“ and then customise a learning session by saying repeat difficult cards more frequently than easy ones.
