We really need that, I think It will improve more your learning, since when I'm wringing something 3/4 times in row I remember more the words for the order than for the real meaning of it.... So a big reshuffle of my deck would be really appreciate
Hello, please add this random buton or some thing to change a bit the order of the cards, it's a bit frustrated that after 5/10 minutes I just get the same words. And the words that I already learnt are never shown or I just need to reset them manually. Thanks!!!
Hi Chris, did you know that there are filters where you can choose what you want to learn? Thanks to this feature, you can also filter for reviewing known words instead of resetting them like you’re doing now. Regarding your suggestion, do you mean that the app would generate random words for you to learn on demand? Did I understand that correctly? Michaela from DuoCards
Michaela Hi, no I don't understand the filters yet! I will look into it, thanks. My suggestion is that you'd click on Random Cards, then the usual interface showing a card would appear, but all the cards are completely random and would include learned cards. This would be like having real cards, and shuffling them.
Chris Cox Alright, I understand. I’m sharing screenshots with you on how to use the filters so you can find it more easily. However, it is a premium feature. If you’re looking for something similar to random cards, you could go to our library, choose any set of cards, and swipe through them to see if you like any. If you do, you can add them to your library. This way, you’ll get the randomized cards you wanted while also expanding your vocabulary. Michaela
Hi, Michaela! No, we just want to have a "Random" button to get random cards from our libraries 😊 and it doesn't matter if it in "learned", "known" or "to learn" category. Or it can be an option in settings that changes the behavior of Start button from predefined queue to just random show. Or Random toggle near the Start button. I enjoy the app, but I don't so much like your predefined order of cards. I don't like to see the same card 3-4 times per little period of time. And after that to have it in "learned" category and wait 2 months for it to come back 😀 It will be very cool to have Random or at least to have the ability to tune the order of cards somehow.
