Parallel Sorting of Cards into Custom Groups
It is not possible to train individual card sets separately without adding them to the main deck used for testing.
Therefore, I would like to request a feature for custom categories, in two different forms:
1) A category with the same functionality as the main deck, but without affecting the main deck’s learning algorithm:
- Sometimes I struggle with specific words or sentences that I know I need to practice more frequently than the algorithm allows.
2) A sequence-based custom card list — also without affecting the main testing algorithm:
- When I confuse several foreign words that sound similar, I could create a list with a clearly defined order. This would help me better remember how each word or sentence differs from the others.
- During testing, each pair would appear in the exact order I predefined.
The problem is that as the main deck grows to larger numbers of cards, the user becomes dependent solely on their diligence in repeating and practicing vocabulary. But if I don’t have enough time during the day, I can’t manage to practice even the words that I know I struggle with the most — both in reading and in communication.
It’s important that I can assign words to these categories even if they already exist in the main deck.
