the limit should be user defined in my opinion - im ok with much more than 10 but still not too many
I'll bump this thread.I would also like to limit the number of words I study at a time. This allows me to remember them better. A large number of cards create spam. The suggested option is not suitable because it takes a lot of time. I don't want to constantly do things manually; the words themselves are not important to me, but their number is. Reword has this feature, and it is very convenient. Please add it.
Hi Adam, thank you for your suggestion! Why do you want this feature? I'm asking to understand better. If it's simply to study certain cards at a specific time, we already have a filter option where you can choose exactly the set of cards you want to learn. I'm adding some screenshots to show you. :) — Michaela
In response to this, personally I find it's not about categorising words or word types because in natural conversation you get exposed to all different types of words and have to think on your feet. I don't mind a mix. It's more about cutting back the volume. Too many = overwhelm.
Hi Parisa, the filter feature is designed for this. You can sort the cards into different folders and filter them to choose what you want to learn. I'm adding screenshots to help you find it more easily. ✌️ On another note, this platform is for suggesting new features. If you have a question in the future, please use our helpdesk section in the app instead. Cheers! Michaela from DuoCards
I came here to say this myself. I find the app tedious and have stopped using it because while I want to add lots of new words as and when I find them, I can't memorise too many at once, and it makes me lose interest. 7-10 words would be the perfect amount. Any more, and I find myself tapping through just to get to the end.
