Yes！Second this. I just wrote the exact same request for Chinese pinyin / romanization. Good to see that this applies for Japanese as well as Chinese.

This issue also occasionally occurs with Chinese pronunciation/pinyin.

Hi, I have encountered the same problem and I have found a workaround. In fact, you can write things in brackets on the card. What's in brackets is not transcribed onto the audio. Ex: もめんどうふ (木綿豆腐) This way, it's pronounced correctly on the card and you have both transcriptions. However, it would be interesting to be able to override the automatic transcription by adding a field on the card, for example.
