Import Vocabulary with a Photo
Dear DuoCards Team,First of all, I’d like to say a big thank you. I really enjoy learning with DuoCards, and the app motivates me every single day.I’d like to suggest a feature to add to the app.When I went to write this feedback, I saw a similar suggestion. I noticed that there’s already a request for the iOS version. However, I couldn’t find a corresponding suggestion for Android. Since my English isn’t very good yet, I’m afraid I can’t tell whether my idea has already been submitted for Android or if I’ve overlooked something.By the way, I wrote this message in German and then translated it into English using DeepL. I hope, therefore, that everything is clear.In addition to DuoCards, I’m also learning English with a textbook. It contains vocabulary lists where the English words are already listed alongside their German translations.I think it would be great if you could take a photo of a page like that within the app. The app could automatically recognize the words and translations, and you could then select which vocabulary items should be added directly to your flashcards.I’m already familiar with a similar feature from another app, and it has really helped me with my studies.In my view, this would also be a valuable improvement in terms of accessibility. I have limited hand function, and manually entering each individual vocabulary word is very tiring and time-consuming for me. Automatic recognition and import of the words would make learning much easier, not only for me but certainly for many other users as well.Thank you very much for taking the time to read my suggestion.
