Bulk/Batch feature - Action for multiple cards in one click

I've had the paid plan for a number of years and am ready to jump ship if this isn't changed. If you want people to use the program over the long term -- as I have -- you need to have at least basic card management features. I'm looking at Anki now -- I don't really want to move, but I also don't want to be stuck with the big mess of cards I've accumulated with no usable way to sort/cull/organize them. I wrote to help about this in 2023 and they said, hopefully soon this would be fixed. So I'm not optimistic. The simplest thing that shouldn't be hard to implement -- create a bulk delete, which resets MyCards back to empty and automatically saves a csv file of all the words as a backup. Then users could manage cards outside of DuoCards. Make that a feature only available to paid users if you want, to help fund further development. This is so frustrating, because DuoCards is absolutely fantastic, with this one really big deal-breaker for me as a long-term user.

Hi, currently it is not possible to do that in a bulk. The easiest option is to set up a new account.

It seems to me that it would be reasonable to add the protection against accidental deleting, which perfectly fits the feature: 1. Add the feature 'Trash' that will contain all the deleted words from the last 30 days, which will be deleted automatically after this period. 2. Required confirmation with figure: "Are you sure you want to delete 156 cards?"

I want to delete all my cards. Selecting one by one is so hard.

And also a security step before deleting accidentally.

Unfortunately the interface reformated the list and they look the same now. The first one initially had no blank lines, the second did have them

I think you could add an option bringing cards more often to learn, I want to revew a card but It says "30 days until return back " even if it apeard a few times not good enought memorize. Please you should add a manageable time for the decks to return.

Hi Andrey, it’s possible to reset a word’s progress, but only one at a time. From your post, I understand that it would be helpful to select multiple words - or even all of them - to reset their progress in bulk. This feature request already exists, it’s called "Bulking Feature - Marking Multiple Cards at the Same Time". I’ll merge your post with that one to consolidate the votes. ✌️Michaela from DuoCards

I can't move my card to another set and add new card is impossible into old sets , it enforce me to create new set instead of adding to existing set

Hi Michaela, Yes, I am. You understood me right. I had nearly 800 lerned word and wanted to reset them in bulk, that's why i reguested for this feature. For now i resolved my demand by resetting them one by one. But I think it would be useful to add this feature to save time and energy.

Hi Sabuhi, thanks for your post! Are you mainly looking to select multiple cards at once and reset them all together? Because otherwise the feature of resetting the cards is already in the app! You can reset a card’s progress by clicking the three dots on the right in your personal deck and selecting “Reset”. Michaela from DuoCards

There is also this weird bug, did someone experience it too? "It's impossible to organise a longer list (60-⁠100+), because when I move a word, it just go to some random place. Okay, not so random, depending how I want to organise it. Let me explain: my organisation is usually: verbs, nouns (feminine, masculine), adjectives, adverbs, sentences. (All in ABC order.) Now, when I add a word to the list, it goes as the very last. Let's imagine, that it is a verb (so around the beginning of the list) then usually I need to count from 1-⁠8 places down, and click to that slot, for the word to be in ABC order, and fit. Now, when it is a adverb (so middleish-endish) for example I need to count down from 16-⁠30 slots, and click 16-⁠30 places below** to fit the word correctly. Also it just randomly changes, so let's say, there is 2 words at the end of the list, and they come alphabetically right behind eachother. The logic would dictate, that I need to count downwards the same amount of slots, maybe an extra more, but no, it doesn't work like that, it randomly just increases the amount by 2-⁠4. This is a bizarre bug. Can you please fix it?" **Corrected above to below.

Powinna być możliwość resetowania swojego postępu w nauce. Miałem kilka miesięcy przerwy w nauce i już mało co pamiętam, ale według aplikacji mam ileś tam znanych słów. Ale te słowa się nie pojawiają same w przypomnieniach, co utrudnia trzymanie dyscypliny.

Wann wird man mit diesem Future rechnen können? Ich hatte euch vor über 9 Monate das erste Mal angeschrieben und seit dem Kämpfe ich mit der App. Der Berg der dubiosen Dubletten wird immer größer 😱 Da man nicht einfach Karten easy Löschen kann, verschiebe ich sie in einen speziellen Ordner. Aber auch da kann ich sie nicht wirklich alle löschen. Dieser ‘Löschen-Ordner’ ist nur ein Beispiel, ich möchte nicht wissen, was sich an Müll in den anderen Ordnern angesammelt hat. Hier das Bild: Links: Im Lernnpool befinden sich ‘angeblich’ 502 Karten Mitte: Laut meiner Quelle sind nur 45 Karten im Stapel Rechts: öffne ich die Quelle, befindet sich keine einzige Karte in der Quelle! Lösche ich den Ordner komplett über die Quelle, landen fast alle Karten wieder in der Quelle ‘manuell hinzugefügt’, die man aber über ‘meine Quellen’ gar NICHT sieht 🥺 Wir reden hier wirklich von einem Fehler in eurer App!!! Und das seit diversen Monaten 😣
